Airelles Venezia
Airelles has opened reservations for Airelles Palladio, Venezia, which will begin welcoming guests from 1 April 2026. Venice has always been a stage for enchanting stories whispered by poets, artists, and dreamers. Across the water from St. Mark’s Square, on the island of Giudecca, that same spirit lingers.
Time moves differently here. The light is softer, the air thick with mystery, and the Venice of gilded salons, hidden gardens, and hushed encounters reveals itself anew. On Giudecca, imagination takes flight, giving life to an enchanting world where every detail is touched by magic. This is Venice at its most extraordinary. This is where Airelles Venezia awaits.
And naturally, the decor is to die for and a total feast for the eyes. French linens meet classic Italian accents from marble and terrazzo floors to custom Fortuny chandeliers, Murano glassware and Rubelli wall-coverings all artfully pulled together by the architect and designer Christophe Tollemer – the aesthetic director across each and every breathtakingly beautiful Airelles house.

Château La Commaraine
Château La Commaraine, one of the Burgundy wine region’s most iconic estates dating back to 1112, will open its doors completely reimagined as a 5-star hotel.
The 37-room property is fully immersed within the vineyards on an impressive estate spanning 7.41 acres, complete with a spa, pool, two restaurants supervised by Christophe Raoux, and a winery open to visitors. Perfectly set in the heart of the renowned Pommard village, just 2.5 miles from Burgundy’s wine capital of Beaune, Château la Commaraine’s meticulous renovations seamlessly blend its historic elements with elegant, contemporary interiors.
Château La Commaraine is nestled in Pommard, a village in the Côte d’Or subregion of Burgundy, with a rich winemaking history dating back to Roman times. Pommard’s climates (including Le Clos de la Commaraine’ s climates) were listed UNESCO World Heritage in 2015 and are known for producing some of the finest red wines in Burgundy, particularly Pinot Noir.
Pommard is a key name in Burgundy with many of its vineyards classified as Premier Cru and its wines sought after by collectors and enthusiasts worldwide. Thomas Jefferson, Louis XV or Victor Hugo when he evoked the appellation as “the fight of day and night!” ; that is to say the happy duality between a powerful and structured wine, between strength and finesse, structure and elegance, light and darkness. All were strong ambassadors of Pommard’s wines which is also an unexpected symbol of the torments and desires of Gustave Flaubert’s Madame Bovary.
The estate has a long viticulture history in the region, surrounded by its own Premier Cru vineyard that produces wines long recognized for their exceptional quality. The Château was originally built as a fortified manor owned by the Dukes of Burgundy, then by various noble families over the centuries, and now serving as a working winery and luxury wine tourism destination, offering visitors a glimpse into its history and unique winemaking traditions.
Opening Spring 2026
Bvlgari Maldives
Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts is set to open Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi in the Maldives, marking the brand’s first property in the archipelago and a notable step in its long-term hospitality strategy. The name Ranfushi comes from the local Dhivehi language, translating to “Little Gold Island”—a subtle nod to the brand’s heritage without overt symbolism. Located approximately 45 minutes by seaplane from Malé International Airport, the resort is surrounded by dense tropical vegetation, shallow lagoons, and uninterrupted views of turquoise water, with neighboring islands appearing faintly on the horizon.
Unlike Bvlgari’s urban hotels, which often sit within architectural landmarks, the Maldives property is intentionally intimate. The resort features 54 accommodations in total, including 33 beach villas with private pools, 20 overwater villas, and a singular Bvlgari Villa set on its own private island. The scale allows the property to feel deliberate rather than expansive—an approach consistent with the brand’s preference for precision over excess.
Malkai, Oman
More of an experience than a single opening, The Malkai will offer up the Sultanate’s rich geographical diversity in one carefully choreographed itinerary when it launches in autumn. Connecting three contrasting landscapes at three discrete sites, each boasting 15 luxuriously appointed tented suites, the four- to 10-night journeys will begin amid the coastal farms and date plantations of Barkaa, near Muscat, providing access to the protected Ad Dimaniyat Islands for swimming and snorkelling, before moving cliffside to the Al Hajar mountains, for trekking, cooler air and mountain culture, and ending deep among the dunes of the Sharqiyah Sands. All this, plus dedicated private guides, spa treatments in your tented suite, and farm-to-fork dining.
Thoughtfully designed for space, privacy, and comfort, The Malkai’s tented Pavilions frame sweeping views of Oman’s diverse terrain. Each climate-controlled Pavilion includes a lounge, dining area, and outdoor terrace, with one- and three-bedroom options. Crafted from natural materials, they offer a refined, contemporary take on luxury accommodation in Oman.
Luura Cliff, Paros
Situated in the heart of the Cyclades, Paros is known for its golden beaches, clear waters, and whitewashed villages like Naoussa and Lefkes. The unique mix of enduring traditions, a lively cultural scene and world renowned water sports conditions set the island apart from the rest.
Perched above the bay of Agia Irini on the island’s western coast, Luura Paros Cliff offers uninterrupted views of the Aegean and nearby Antiparos, with unmatched sunsets.
This year Luura Cliff will be the hotspot that’s turning heads. On the island’s west coast, the whitewashed adults-only hideout is an exercise in calm and even comes with its own private chapel. Art is also key: contemporary works from the owners’ family collection feature throughout the hotel and tapped-in experiences include marble-carving workshops with local artisans.
On Paros, an island better known for barefoot tavernas than statement hotels, Luura is perhaps the most culturally ambitious new arrival. Opening in May, the adults-only, all-suite retreat perches high above the Aegean, unfolding as a Cycladic-style village carved into the hillside. Art is integral – works by Francesco Clemente, Claire Tabouret and Judith Hopf will sit alongside limited-edition ceramics by local artisans such as Maria Economides – and the food gets equal billing, from Japanese flavours at Mimi Kakushi to relaxed, Parisian-style fare at the all-day La Cantine du Faubourg. Beyond the hotel, alluring experiences include marble-carving workshops, caper-picking trips and boat excursions to explore remote islets.
Orient Express, Venezia
Orient Express will open its new hotel in Venice at the exceptional Palazzo Donà Giovannelli. Architect and interior designer Aline Asmar d’Amman, alongside her studio Culture in Architecture, has been entrusted to design and decorate the space. Venice, once the gateway to Constantinople and a mythical stop on the legendary Orient Express train – that opened its doors in 1919 with the completion of the Simplon tunnel linking Switzerland to Italy – is now the home of the second Orient Express hotel.
Heritage
An ode to the heritage of Venice, inspired by all of the cultures and eras that are forever a part of its history, Orient Express Venezia is the home to 47 rooms and suites, all overlooking the gardens of the historical residency and the canals of Venice. The Piano Nobile hosts an elegant ballroom with historical frescos where savouring a memorable breakfast or celebrating in style special occasions and private events.
