A YUZU Film from the Amalfi Coast.
Miramalfi began with a homecoming. In the 1950s, Francesco Mansi returned to the Amalfi Coast after years in Mexico, intending to build a family home overlooking the sea. Instead, the house became a hotel — and the beginning of a story that has remained closely tied to the Mansi family ever since. Ferida Fava and Alessandro Mansi take us through Miramalfi’s story and its deeply personal approach to hospitality, from interiors inspired by the Amalfi Coast of the 1950s to objects, books and gardens shaped by Ferida’s own memories. Just 800 metres from the centre of Amalfi, Miramalfi unfolds towards the Mediterranean with 36 sea-facing rooms, a seawater pool and a beach club with direct access to the sea. The film traces the family story behind the hotel and the memories, places and personal histories that continue to shape it.
