Inspired by a collection of rare preserved scarabs sourced from the storied Parisian institution Deyrolle, designer Lito Karakostanoglou transforms nature’s perfection into wearable art — a poetic fusion of life, craftsmanship, and imagination.

Through delicate preservation techniques, artisans maintain the insect’s exoskeleton intact, capturing its original luster. Every joint, clasp, and gem setting is a study in precision — details visible only under magnification, yet essential to the piece’s soul. From the fine gold tip of a scarab holding a diamond, to the articulated rings of the choker that allow the wings to move and glimmer against the skin, each jewel is both alive and eternal.
