Welcome to the sixth episode of Wallpaper’s video series, The Stuff That Surrounds You. Watch as we’re invited into the intriguing homes of creatives and makers, catching a glimpse of their interior lives via the objects with which they surround themselves. For this episode, we are invited into the Danish coastal home of design entrepreneurs Mette and Rolf Hay, the founders of Danish design brand HAY.
The Hays have spent their lives immersed in the design industry. Long before founding their internationally successful design brand in Copenhagen, both were drawn to objects and the stories and memories they carry. In their home just outside the Danish capital – a modernist house overlooking an uninterrupted expanse of sea and sky – pieces collected over the years form the backdrop to everyday life.
