T2T, From Tinos to Tinos
This is not just a canteen. It is a purpose.
Powered by volunteers and generous supporters, every contribution directly strengthens the healthcare infrastructure of Tinos.
Built by people. For the island.
From Tinos → For Tinos
Eat Good. Do Good. For Tinos.
T2T – From Tinos to Tinos is a volunteer-driven, non-profit initiative with a strategic mission: to actively reinforce primary healthcare services on the island of Tinos. Through an original model that goes beyond traditional philanthropy, the project transforms gastronomy into a vehicle for social contribution — returning value to the local community while proposing a new model of collective care and civic participation.
Philosophy | Development Needs Infrastructure
While the rapid tourism growth of the Greek islands remains a key driver of economic development, it often fails to align with the strengthening of essential public infrastructure. T2T was born from the belief that island communities are not merely seasonal destinations, but living ecosystems that require care, safety, and support 365 days a year.
How It Works | A Canteen With a Mission
In the area of Kardiani, Tinos, the T2T pop-up canteen will operate entirely on a volunteer basis for one month (18 July 2026 – 18 August 2026), hosted in a privately owned space provided by the founder.
Featuring a minimal yet high-quality menu — including four signature sandwiches and five cocktails — primarily based on local and Greek products, the canteen will serve as the central hub of the initiative.
At T2T, every product functions as a unit of contribution.
A sandwich (€9–11), a cocktail (€10), or even a simple drink is not merely a purchase — it is a direct contribution toward strengthening the island’s healthcare infrastructure.
These are not just prices.
They are designed as contributions.
Strategic Goals & Milestones
The initiative operates through clear, measurable fundraising goals designed to create immediate and tangible impact:
- Level 1 — €20,000
Securing emergency air-transfer insurance coverage for critical medical incidents. - Level 2 — €40,000
Funding the purchase of a modern medical ultrasound system for the local Health Center. - Level 3 — €60,000
Full implementation of both objectives, creating comprehensive healthcare support for the island.
Every T2T action is developed in collaboration with the local community and relevant authorities to ensure that all efforts respond to real and immediate needs.
Core Principles
The project is grounded in three fundamental principles:
- Transparency in every form of support
- Active participation from the local community
- A fully volunteer-based structure with no personal profit involved

Existing Support & Momentum
T2T has already mobilized a strong network of support from both businesses and private individuals, confirming the initiative’s credibility, momentum, and growing impact.
To date, the project has secured more than €25,000 in contributions, serving as a strong indication of trust and early success.
Key supporters include Coca‑Cola HBC, Golden Star Ferries, NISSOS Brewery, Olympic Brewery, T-Oinos, Vaptistis Winery, Evripiotis Architects, Antonis & Marios Xenopoulos OE, butler.gr, The Bespokers, as well as Empnefsi Radio, which actively supports the initiative through dedicated radio promotion.
At the same time, more than 50 private supporters — including local producers from Tinos — have already contributed amounts ranging from €100 to €300, actively reinforcing the initiative.
T2T has also activated a broad network of creators and artists who contribute voluntarily through the design and production of collectible objects and merchandise that will be available through the canteen, directly strengthening the fundraising outcome.
Collaborations with creators and brands such as Delta Kappa Design, On Entropy, Alexandra Papadimouli, Yiannis Tokalatsidis, Chimera, All We See Is The Sea, and Myrsini Alexandridi integrate Greece’s contemporary creative scene into the project, transforming the merchandise into both a symbol of identity and a tool for contribution.
This participation adds not only financial value, but also cultural significance — expanding the reach of T2T and creating an ecosystem where creativity, community, and social purpose work together.
On an operational level, the non-profit organization TINOS2TINOS has already completed the purchase and licensing of a second-hand canteen unit, which is currently being reconstructed and adapted for the needs of the initiative.
This momentum was further confirmed through the project’s first proof of concept: during the Kypseli pop-up event on March 22, 2026, the volunteer-run canteen operated successfully and generated €3,000 in revenue within just a few hours, resulting in approximately €1,340 net proceeds after taxes — demonstrating that the model can function effectively while producing tangible social impact.
Further funding will allow this momentum to scale, maximizing the project’s impact and accelerating the strengthening of healthcare infrastructure on Tinos.
