Thessaloniki always had its own rhythm; a multi-ethnic and multicultural energy, pulsating between the historical and the contemporary, a crossroads of East and West. And now, in the heart of this city with its irresistible pulse, Zeus+Dione has inaugurated its new boutique, officially marking its arrival in Northern Greece. At 46 Proxenou Koromila, among neoclassical buildings and streets that all lead to the waterfront, the brand has created a space that captures its own idea of luxury: simple, calm, timeless. Craftsmanship, light and details of the architectural elements compose a modern version of Greek simplicity.
The new boutique, designed by architect Nefeli Papakyriakopoulou, draws inspiration from the brand’s jacquard silk. Its geometry is deconstructed and translated into architectural composition, creating a space where detail and materiality meet the minimalist elegance of Zeus+Δione. Aegean marble dominates, giving the interior light and unity, while a screen-work of art by Alexandra Bissa, woven especially for the store, stands out, a dialogue between tradition and modern aesthetics.
Inside, visitors can discover the current ready-to-wear collections, as well as a wide range of accessories, jewelry, leather goods, silk scarves and homeware items from the Philoxenia series, inspired by the concept of “hospitality”. A space where fashion becomes a way of expressing identity: quiet, authentic and deeply Greek.
The opening night brought together personalities from the worlds of fashion, art and media, as well as friends of the brand, who welcomed the new chapter of Zeus+Δione with a pervasive sense of celebration.
The highlight of the evening was the silk scarf “Thessaloniki”, a collectible creation with which Zeus+Δione honors the city of Thessaloniki. Its presentation, through a three-minute animated video, transformed the city’s narrative into a visual journey. Designed by artist Em Prové in collaboration with Marios Schwab, the scarf captures the historic center of Thessaloniki like an artistic map that highlights the city’s multi-layered cultural layers. The video unfolds streets, landmarks and monuments, sketched on soft silk with thin black and white lines, each with its name in a distinctive inscription. Along a ribbon bearing the name of the city, vineyards and flowers inspired by the Macedonian land stretch, while shades of blue, emerald and burgundy frame the map.
The presentation was transferred to the natural space of the inauguration, where the elements of the scarf came to life. Musical instruments depicted on the silk appeared for real, with the sounds of an accordion giving the impetus for the start of a mini catwalk, where selected pieces from the “Chimera” Fall/Winter 2025 collection were presented, under the artistic supervision of Marios Schwab. The accordion was succeeded by a lantern, flooding the space with its characteristic nostalgic sound and giving the presentation a lively, multi-sensory dimension.
