Bad Bunny and Zara present BENITO ANTONIO, a collection inspired by the personal world of Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio — the instinct that has guided him, the identity that has defined his work, and the vision that has shaped everything he touches. BENITO ANTONIO is available from May 21 on zara.com and in selected Zara stores worldwide.
The world got its first glimpse without even realizing it. On February 8, Benito took the stage at the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show in Santa Clara in front of more than 100 million viewers, becoming the first Latin male artist to headline the show, wearing custom looks created in collaboration with Zara. Then came the Met Gala on May 4, where he appeared transformed into a more mature version of himself, wearing a custom black tuxedo of his own design, once again developed together with Zara.
Then, on May 16, before any official announcement had even been made, Zara transformed its store at Plaza Las Américas into an exclusive pop-up space, giving Puerto Rico the first opportunity to experience the collection up close before the rest of the world, while Benito made a surprise appearance that same afternoon. The story had already begun to unfold. As with everything Benito does, the work came first. BENITO ANTONIO is the complete expression of that world.
Created in collaboration with his longtime creative director Janthony Oliveras, the 150-piece collection was built around one core principle: Benito’s unique perspective. Every detail — the silhouettes, colors, graphics, fabrics, and fit — was approached with intention and instinct. The pieces reflect the way Benito has always dressed: effortless, expressive, and deeply personal. The collection moves between tailoring, oversized essentials, textured separates, graphic statements, and summer pieces, all designed with the same sense of confidence, individuality, and ease that has long defined his style.
“My role was to bring Benito’s style to life exactly as it is today — not how it was last year, nor how it will be next year. Now. Being so close to him gave me a real sense of certainty: with every new piece we created, I could genuinely picture him wearing it. During the second trip to A Coruña, when we had the first samples in our hands, I knew we had captured his essence. There’s something truly special about this collaboration — it’s the meeting of two different worlds united through a shared language, and Zara gives us the opportunity to share it globally in a way that feels accessible to everyone. I want people to feel like they’re stepping into a dream. I want them to understand that simplicity doesn’t have to mean something boring. Seeing this collection finally go out into the world means everything to me — it’s like my child.”
— Janthony Oliveras, Creative Director
The visual identity of BENITO ANTONIO was created together with M/M Paris in close collaboration with Benito, drawing inspiration from the visual language he has always carried with him — electric poles, elements of urban infrastructure, handmade textures, and the everyday details of life in Puerto Rico that often go unnoticed until someone chooses to see them differently. That perspective has always been at the core of Benito’s work: taking what belongs to Puerto Rico and placing it at the center of the global conversation without changing it to make it understandable.
The campaign was photographed in Puerto Rico by STILLZ, the creative force behind some of the most defining visuals of Benito’s career. In the images, Benito sits alone on a rock in the ocean beside a handmade wooden boat carrying a sail assembled from pieces of the collection itself. The imagery reflects Benito’s instinctive approach to creativity — building something personal, intentional, and entirely his own.
Selected Zara stores worldwide have been transformed to reflect the atmosphere and visual language of the collection, extending the world of BENITO ANTONIO beyond the clothes themselves. More than a collaboration, BENITO ANTONIO is a reflection of Benito’s identity, his creative evolution, and the vision that has always made his work impossible to ignore.
