In the Castoni collection, the designer’s process reaches its most radical point: recovering the remnant, the infinitesimal trace that endures beyond the act. Born from subtraction, the collection transforms absence into matter and waste into value. Each piece becomes an act of refinement, redefining preciousness through what remains: a cut, a void, a pulse.
Six new pieces extend the Castoni family. Leather is set as a stone would be, and the setting becomes structure.
With Fall 2026, Maria Sole Ferragamo returns to Castoni, the family introduced with the Winter 25 Collection, and extends it with a new drop of six pieces. The premise remains the same: what is usually discarded becomes origin. Leather offcuts are no longer residue but the core of the piece.
This chapter takes the sculptural matrix of the collection further, focusing on the act of setting. Leather is held by metal as a gem would be, creating the illusion of a stone where there is none. Hexagon, line and oval organize each piece, while the settings repeat, multiply and change scale, from the hand to the neck to the ear.
Castone N.9 earrings are a faceted hexagon that opens into a hoop. On each plane, leather is set like a stone, part jewel, part structure.
Castone N.10 ring reduces the hexagon to the scale of the hand. Leather rises from its faces, held by the metal as a gem would be.
In Castone N.11 earrings, leather settings gather and climb the ear, a mirrored pair shaped like a growing branch.
Castone N.12 necklace is a rigid collar that narrows as it curves. A line of leather settings runs along it, like a rhythm traced on the neck.
Castone N.14 earrings play with perspective: a single line from the front, a setting in profile. The drop moves freely, with leather held at its core.
Castone N.15 ear cuff draws an open oval around the ear with a fine line. Two settings face each other and stop short of touching.
