Transforming the perfection and wisdom of nature into wearable objets d’art, LITO Fine Jewelry, under the creative direction of Lito Karakostanoglou, unveiled its Cosmic Guardians collection during Paris Couture Week 2026, exhibiting alongside the world’s leading Haute Joaillerie maisons. The presentation marked not only a testament to the house’s exceptional craftsmanship and artistic vision, but also a significant milestone celebrating 25 years of creative excellence.

At the heart of the Cosmic Guardians collection are scarabs—ancient talismans revered as enduring symbols of transformation, renewal, and immortality. In what is perhaps her most personal collection to date, Lito Karakostanoglou drew inspiration from the extraordinary preserved scarab collection of the historic Parisian natural history institution Deyrolle. Combining noble metals with exceptional gemstones and working hand in hand with the master artisans of her atelier, she has created a collection distinguished by imagination, technical precision, and remarkable innovation. Each jewel is conceived as a rare work of art, celebrating the delicate balance between the strength and fragility of the natural world.

Each preserved scarab is delicately embraced by an 18-karat gold structure that safeguards its naturally iridescent brilliance. Thanks to pioneering preservation techniques, the insect’s exoskeleton remains perfectly intact, retaining its authentic luminosity. Every joint, clasp, and gemstone setting is executed with extraordinary precision—details perceptible only through a magnifying lens, yet essential to the integrity, value, and soul of each creation.

From the articulated structure of the choker, which allows the scarabs’ wings to move and reflect their iridescent light across the skin, each creation appears both alive and timeless. The Cosmic Guardians collection comprises earrings, rings, bracelets, a choker, a brooch, and a tiara, all crafted in 18-karat gold, diamonds, and exceptional gemstones. Every jewel is accompanied by its own handcrafted ceramic display habitat, created in collaboration with French ceramic artist Diane Alexandre, reinforcing its status not only as a piece of jewelry but also as a highly collectible work of art.

The Cosmic Guardians collection was met with widespread acclaim from the international press and leading jewelry editors, with LITO Fine Jewelry emerging as one of the highlights of Paris Couture Week 2026. “Every jewel I create is a journey through time and across civilizations,” says Lito Karakostanoglou. “Presenting the collection in Paris during Paris Couture Week coincides with the celebration of the house’s 25th anniversary, making it a defining moment for me—one that marks both an important evolution and the beginning of a new creative chapter.”

More than a jewelry collection, Cosmic Guardians is a series of precious works of art that explore the dialogue between organic forms and human craftsmanship, between imagination and the intrinsic beauty of the natural world.
