Volume R and MP Arts Agency present the group exhibition Cover 33, bringing graffiti art into dialogue with the aesthetics and culture of vinyl.
The project was conceived and curated by Mika Papamichail, curator of the exhibition.
As part of the project, 24 graffiti artists are invited to transform a blank vinyl record sleeve into an autonomous work of art, with no thematic restrictions, creating a dialogue between graffiti, contemporary art and vinyl culture.
Each artist is free to create using their own visual language, personal references and chosen media.
The result is a collection of 24 unique works, through which a familiar object of music culture acquires a new artistic identity and function. The vinyl sleeve becomes both a canvas and a meeting point for different artistic approaches.
The participating artists come from Athens, Thessaloniki and Paris, representing different generations and trajectories within the graffiti scene. Cover 33 brings together established and award-winning artists with longstanding and significant careers alongside representatives of a younger generation, creating a dialogue between the history, evolution and contemporary expression of graffiti.

A specially designed merchandise collection for Volume R will also be available throughout the exhibition, featuring numbered prints of works by the participating artists, as well as collectible T-shirts and tote bags.
The Opening Party will take place on Thursday, 24 September 2026, from 19:00 to 22:00 at Volume R, 24 Paparigopoulou Street, Thessaloniki.
