A project between private life and digital storytelling

A family home, traditional and evocative in its architecture. Exposed beams rhythmically define the space and tell the story of a house that already had a strong, recognizable soul. The project begins right here: by listening to what was already there and bringing it into dialogue with the people who live in it.

Within this structure, Storie Design Studio introduced the personality of Francesca Biella, interpreting it in its most authentic context: family life. A space that reflects her fresh and contemporary character, with a playful and slightly provocative edge—never excessive. The dogs become an active part of the home, everyday presences that influence both choices and functions. Pop, vibrant colors, soft lines, and design solutions conceived to make every corner lived-in and functional.

The house was designed not only as a place to live, but also as a workspace. As an influencer, Francesca needed each room to potentially function as a set: recognizable backdrops, narrative corners, color palettes capable of engaging with light and the lens. A home to be lived in daily, yet naturally suited to being told, photographed, and shared—without ever losing authenticity. Hospitality remains one of the project’s central themes: the large sofa, the dining table, the spaces conceived for gathering. Alongside this more open dimension, moments of intimacy also emerge: the fireplace, cozier corners, areas dedicated to a more personal and private side.

A constant balance between comfort and expression, between private life and work. Details become storytelling. The kitchen tiles turn into a sort of diary, echoing the idea of notebook pages. Iconic lamps accompany the spaces as recognizable markers, completing the project with confident and deliberate accents. A home to live in, to work in, and to tell. A project that speaks of identity before it speaks of style.

About

Storie Design Studio: Interior Design Between Research and Storytelling

Storie was born from the desire of Chiara Mauri and Andrea Randazzo to create spaces that tell stories. After studying Product Design at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, they developed their practice through exhibition, cultural and research experiences between Milan and Denmark, refining their vision and approach to design.

Since 2020, Storie Design Studio has focused on interior design through a tailored and reflective approach. Every space they create is the result of a shared journey — an attentive dialogue that transforms listening into form, and identity into space.

The studio believes that designing interiors means far more than simply furnishing spaces; it is about creating sensory experiences where architecture, materiality and storytelling coexist in balance.

The studio has participated in exhibitions and events such as Brera Aperta, ArtiDesignImpresa, FuoriSalone, Maker Faire Rome and Milan Design Week. In 2021, the studio received the Archiproducts Design Award.
