For the first time, Louis Vuitton’s historic trunks have been hand-painted by Humberto Campana. The pieces are among the highlights of Savoir-Rêver Brasil 2026, the maison’s experience dedicated to savoir-faire, design and the world of travel, taking place from August 25 to 27 at Casa Fasano in São Paulo.
The invitation-only event also brings together fashion, high and fine jewellery, travel objects and special creations.
The new project adds another chapter to the French maison’s longstanding relationship with Estúdio Campana. The collaboration dates back to the launch of the Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades collection in 2012, a project that invites international designers to explore new possibilities for furniture and objects through the craftsmanship and heritage of the house.
Fernando and Humberto Campana have been among the creators involved in the collection since its inception.
For Savoir-Rêver Brasil 2026, Humberto Campana turned his attention to one of Louis Vuitton’s historic codes: the trunk. A composition of stacked Alzer trunks, hand-painted by the artist, revisits forms from the Sushi series, created by Estúdio Campana in 2002. Colour, graphic elements and movement cross the monogram, creating a dialogue between the Brazilian designer’s experimental language and the maison’s travel heritage.
The selection presented in São Paulo also includes the Boiuna Cocoon Couture, a creation developed for Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades. The journey expands this dialogue further. At Casa Fasano, the creations are displayed throughout spaces inspired by desert landscapes and lush green fields. Hard-sided trunks, men’s pieces and travel-related objects occupy one setting, while high and fine jewellery, leather handbags, women’s fashion and made-to-order dresses appear in another.
Coffee Trunk, Malle Courrier 110 Aluminium, Lantern Trunk Gold and Louis Boat are among the objects selected for the experience.
